Privacy
This site sets no cookies and stores no personal data about you.
What happens when you load a page
The site is a set of static files. There is no login, no form, no database, and no server-side code. Nothing you do here is recorded by me.
Two third parties see your request, and both process your IP address in order to do their job:
- Cloudflare serves the pages and provides aggregate, cookieless traffic analytics. I see page counts and referrers; I cannot identify you.
- GitHub hosts the comment threads, which load on post pages via Giscus. Loading a thread discloses your IP address to GitHub. Posting a comment requires a GitHub account, and the comment lives in GitHub Discussions under GitHub's terms rather than mine.
Why there is no cookie banner
Because there are no cookies to consent to. The analytics are cookieless and no identifier is stored in your browser.
Following without being counted
The RSS feed needs no email address and no account. There is no mailing list.
